Don't miss this special day-long workshop by the author of 'The Reason You Walk: A Memoir.' Wab Kinew draws from the wisdom of Anishinaabe elders, western education and his experiences as a journalist, broadcaster, politician, author and musician, to inspire listeners to transform concern into purposeful action. Part of the time will be spent at the Mt. Elgin Residential School Memorial Site on the Chippewa of the Thames First Nation. This event is an opportunity to learn, to seek understanding, to be challenged, and to take up the TRC Calls to Action to the church. Greek Canadian Community

This meeting is hosted by Lambton Presbytery. At this meeting we will be conducting business of the court, hearing from our various committees and divisions, and brainstorming about our future. Following President Kenji Marui's theme of 'To Reconcile and Make New' we will ask what we need to come to terms with and . . . what can be re-made. Broadcaster, politician, author Wab Kinew will be our speaker on Friday, May 26, leading a day-long event at the Stoneridge Inn to kick off the Annual Meeting. Don't miss any of this! It is a chance for children to gather together and meet other children from around our Conference and to explore the theme of the weekend 'DAYS OF OUR LIVES.' Equipping and empowering kids to make positive changes in their lives and their community.
