Children at Conference is a fun and exciting weekend for Children Grade 3 to Grade 8. It is a chance for children to gather together and meet other children from around our Conference and to explore the theme of the weekend. This year's theme is BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED.' Equipping and empowering kids to make positive change in their lives and their community.

The event begins on Friday morning June 8 and runs through Sunday June 10. So, yes, the children miss a day of school.

The cost for this weekend is based on a tier system and includes meals, accommodation and a t-shirt. Upon acceptance of your registration you will receive an email with the necessary information, a map and a ‘what to bring’ list. Developmentally or physically challenged children are welcome at Children at Conference provided that parents make available the same support systems that are provided for them in the educational system.

Voluntary Three-Tier Pricing System for Children At Conference:

London Conference has had a long history of providing affordable Faith Formation programs for children, youth and young adults (so that program costs do not determine who can participate). Financial support from London Conference has kept fees down despite rising program costs. This is reflected in past budgets as we have subsidized a higher percentage of the program cost each year.

Knowing that families have different financial realities, we are now offering a Voluntary Three-Tier Pricing System. Participants can choose the tier that is most suitable for their family. The Voluntary Three-Tier Pricing System allows us to continue to offer the same low fees for programs, while acknowledging the true cost of programs. The more families that are able to contribute to Tiers II and III the more we are able to offer financial assistance to those in need.

Families can choose from:

  • Tier I: $115 - our historically subsidized rate
  • Tier II: $130 - our partially subsidized rate for those who can pay a little more but still cannot afford the actual cost of the program
  • Tier III: $145 - the rate that most closely accounts for the actual cost of the program

Please Note: The Voluntary Three-Tier Pricing System is completely voluntary and confidential. This program is an opportunity for families to take an active role in supporting the true costs of London Conference Ministries.

For financial assistance information please contact your home church or your Presbytery Secretary. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Betsy Exley at 519-672-1930 ext. 104 or by email at

The leadership team consists of Children's Ministers, a Camp Director, Young Adults and parent volunteers from around London Conference. Facilitating Children at Conference is the Leadership Team along with and the counselors. The counselors are high school and university students that have all had training, reference checks and police background checks.

There will be singing, playing, learning, wondering, worship, games, crafts and a whole bunch of fun! Faith, fellowship, and serious fun, what a great combination!

It's a great event and we look forward to welcoming your Children. Go to Registration Page.

Please contact Betsy Exley with any questions.
